calwonder ("we," "our," "the app") is a calendar app that helps parents track and share event dates from school and community announcements. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can control or delete it.

Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect:

Account information — your name and email address, provided either directly (email/password sign-up) or through Google Sign-In / Sign in with Apple.
Calendar content — the events, dates, times, locations, and notes you add, along with any shared calendars you create or join.

We do not collect location data, contacts, photos, or any device data beyond what's needed to operate the app (e.g. push notification tokens, if you enable reminders).

How we use your information

To create and secure your account, and let you sign in.
To store and display your calendar events and reminders.
To let you share a calendar with other parents you explicitly invite (via a join code), so members of that shared calendar can see the events on it.
To send reminder notifications for upcoming events, if enabled.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored with Supabase, our backend infrastructure provider, encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Access to your private calendar is restricted to you; access to a shared calendar is restricted to members you or another owner has explicitly added.

Third-party services

calwonder relies on a small number of third-party services to operate:

Supabase — database, authentication, and hosting.
Google Sign-In — optional authentication method.
Sign in with Apple — optional authentication method on iOS.

These providers process data only as needed to deliver their service to calwonder and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

Data retention and deletion

We retain your account and calendar data for as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your account and all associated data, email us at bprasannakumar@gmail.com. We'll delete your data within 30 days of a verified request.

Children's privacy

calwonder is intended for use by parents and other adults managing family and school calendars. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
